Small Driftless-area prairie on a bluff above the Sugar River valley offering panoramic overlooks, tallgrass prairie, wildflower displays (late spring–summer) and sweeping fall colors. Trails are short but can be steep; small parking area off county roads, no fee. Best light is golden hour at sunrise or sunset for backlit grasses and long shadows; mid-morning on weekdays gives calmer winds and fewer people. Bring sturdy shoes and insect repellent—the site is exposed and can be windy.
