Photograph textured trunks, seasonal color (excellent in autumn), canal reflections, misty mornings and long winter silhouettes. Accessible via Auchinstarry car park; no entry fee and easy walking trails but uneven ground. Best light at golden hour and dawn for low-angle light and fog; weekdays and early mornings avoid walkers and dog traffic. Watch for muddy sections and ticks in夏.
