Small wetland preserve with boardwalks, cattail marshes and open water — excellent for reflective waterscapes, migratory waterfowl, and intimate nature details. Best at sunrise and early morning for mist, calm reflections and active birds; golden hour brings warm backlight on reeds. Trails are flat and easy; roadside parking at the trailhead (no permit usually required). Expect seasonal changes: spring migration and autumn color are most photogenic. Bring insect protection in summer.
