Alpine walking trail above Zermatt offering sweeping meadow foregrounds, grazing cattle, larch trees and postcard views of the Matterhorn and surrounding peaks. Best in summer–early autumn for wildflowers and clear skies; golden hour at sunrise or sunset brings warm side-light on ridgelines. Zermatt is car-free—park in Täsch and take the train/cable car (Sunnegga/Leisee access). Trail is easy–moderate; bring layers for sudden weather.
