Small Algarve cove framed by ochre cliffs, arches and tidal rock platforms — great for dramatic coastal compositions, long exposures of surf and intimate foreground textures. Best at sunset for warm light on the cliffs (also good after storms for dynamic skies). Access via a short path/stairs from the Budens road; parking is limited roadside. No entry fees. Visit weekdays and at low tide to expose rock pools and foreground shapes. Mind slippery rocks and local bathers in summer.
