Best for intimate landscape and waterscape images — spring after rain or late fall foliage are most dramatic. Visit at golden hour or early morning for soft light and fewer hikers. Parking is limited; this is public parkland (no fee at many trailheads) but trails are rocky and can be muddy — wear boots and expect uneven footing and some stairs.
