Brooklyn Trail climbs above Silverton through alpine meadows, aspen groves and mining-era ruins with sweeping views of the San Juan Mountains. Ideal for landscape and seasonal color shots—golden aspens in fall, wildflowers in summer, snow scenes in winter. Trail is moderately steep, high-elevation (bring layers). Access from Co Rd 2; limited parking at the trailhead. Best light is early morning or late afternoon; weekdays offer fewer hikers.
