Trailhead for dramatic moraine ridges and close views of blue-ice crevasses on the Matanuska glacier. Shoot sweeping foreground moraine textures against the glacier and surrounding Chugach peaks. Best visited late June–September for trail access; sunrise/sunset for warm side light and long shadows, overcast for saturated ice tones.
