Rudge Hill is a small Cotswolds escarpment of limestone grassland, scrub and hawthorn copses with panoramic views over the Severn Vale. Photograph carpets of spring and summer wildflowers, butterflies and textured dry-stone walls, plus wide vistas at sunrise/sunset. Best in spring–early summer for blooms and late summer for kestrels; autumn brings warm light and muted tones. Accessible from the Cotswold Way with rough footpaths; no entry fee.
