The Oloolua Nature Trail
A shady indigenous forest with a bamboo grove, small waterfall, streams, caves and abundant birdlife and monkeys—ideal for intimate nature scenes, forest light shafts and water long exposures. Best at early morning (mist, soft light) or late afternoon; weekdays are quieter. Trails are short but uneven—wear boots. Small entry fee and parking at the Karen/Oloolua gate; expect muddy sections after rain. Respect wildlife and local rules.
