Boardtree Falls is a small, intimate cascade on the Greeter Trail in the Cumberland Plateau — mossy rock tiers, a shallow emerald plunge pool and surrounding rhododendron/hemlock forest create strong foreground and frame opportunities. Best after rain for fuller flow; golden hour or overcast days give soft light and rich greens. Trail is a moderate, slightly rocky hike (bring grippy shoes); roadside parking at the Greeter Trailhead. No special permits; expect limited cell service.
