Small riverside campground on the Ottawa River near the Carillon dam and lock—offers river panoramas, reflections of the dam, wooded campsites, and seasonal birdlife. Best at golden hour and blue hour for reflections and long exposures; spring–fall are most scenic (summer has mosquitoes). Accessible by car with onsite parking and campground entry fees in season; weekdays and early mornings are quieter. Good for combining landscape, waterscape and nature images with contextual campsite shots.
