A dramatic limestone bluff with a shallow cave mouth opening onto the Buffalo River — great for wide landscape frames combining textured rock, river reflections and forest. Shoot golden hour or blue hour for warm cliff tones and soft light in the cave. Access is via a short trail from a small pullout near Ponca; parking is limited and uneven. Check seasonal river levels and bat/cave closure notices from Buffalo National River. Expect muddy trails after rain and bring waterproof footwear.
