Best at sunrise/sunset for warm side-light and long shadows; also excellent for Milky Way. Access requires park entry; road to trailhead can be rough—high-clearance or 4WD recommended in wet seasons. Small parking lot; trails are strenuous and exposed—bring water and sun protection. Visit spring/fall for moderate temps and fewer heat
