Pickens County Airport Park
Score4.2Small public park adjacent to Pickens County Airport offering runway views, GA aircraft activity and open skies framed by foothills. Best at sunrise/sunset for warm light and dramatic clouds; weekdays and early mornings mean fewer visitors. Parking is roadside/park lot; public access but obey posted airport safety signs. Drone use restricted—check FAA/local rules. Great for combining aircraft shots with low rolling hills and long leading lines of taxiways.
