Trailhead into a coastal glacier valley near Juneau offering dramatic ice, alpine ridges, old-growth rainforest and rushing melt creeks—great for wide landscape frames, intimate ice/textures and waterfall long exposures. Best visited late spring–early fall for trail access; sunrise/late evening (golden hour) gives warm side light on ice and low crowds.
