A short, steep trail leading to a narrow sandstone slot with sculpted walls, skylights and coastal views over the San Elijo Lagoon. Photograph sweeping coastal panoramas from the ridge and intimate abstract textures inside the slot. Best visited weekday mornings or late afternoon to avoid crowds; midday can produce dramatic light shafts inside the canyon.
