Great for close-up wildflower and insect shots, marsh reflections, low-angle rock-and-trail compositions, and intimate landscape frames at golden hour. Best visits: spring–early summer for bloom and insect activity; sunrise or late afternoon for warm side-lighting. Weekday mornings are quieter. Trail can be muddy after rain and ticks are present in summer. Free entry; small parking near
