Nanasha Shrine - Image 1

Nanasha Shrine

Small rural Shinto shrine set against cedar woods and stone steps—excellent for intimate compositions: torii, lanterns, mossy stonework and seasonal foliage or snow. Best at early morning or late afternoon for soft light and few visitors; autumn (maple) and winter snow provide dramatic contrast. Site is compact with limited parking—arrive by car off local roads or on foot from nearby lanes. Observe Shinto etiquette (bow, wash hands) and avoid blocking worshippers.
