Once one of Detroit’s most recognizable symbols of abandonment, Michigan Central Station has been given another life. What caught my eye wasn’t simply the restoration, but the light. Warm chandeliers repeat through the massive arched hall while cool daylight enters from beyond, all mirrored across the polished floor. I photographed from a low perspective to emphasize the symmetry and repetition. The arches, lights and reflections draw the eye through the hall.
