South Branch River Trail
Short, mostly-flat riverside trail with scenic water reflections, a restored mill and frequent wildlife (ducks, herons, turtles, dragonflies). Best at sunrise/sunset for warm light and calm water; fall for foliage; spring/summer for active wildlife (bring bug spray). Easy parking and access; trail is ~1.2 miles one-way, partially shaded and can be overgrown in places—wear boots and expect some narrow sections under bridges.
