Best in spring–summer for wildflowers and insects, autumn for color; golden hour at sunrise/sunset gives warm side light. Trails are short but uneven; public access is free. Limited roadside parking near the entrance (CF31 5BQ); expect no facilities. Quiet, locally valued habitat with good chances for bird and macro work.
