Nachi Waterfall

Nachi Waterfall (Nachi-no-taki) is Japan’s tallest single-drop waterfall framed by the vermilion Seiganto-ji pagoda and ancient Kumano Nachi Taisha shrine — a dramatic blend of waterscape, temple architecture, and forest. Photograph powerful vertical flow, misty long-exposure shots, and compositions that include the pagoda in the foreground. Best at sunrise or early morning for soft light and fewer tourists; rainy season brings maximum flow but slippery trails. Accessible via paved paths and ~5–
