Elevated wooden platform overlooking rolling Darling Downs farmland and the Great Dividing Range — excellent for wide panoramas, layered morning mist, stormfronts and sunset color. Small carpark and short, well-formed trail from Gormans Gap Rd; no entry fee. Best at sunrise for low-angled light and valley mist, or at golden hour for warm tones. Weekdays are quieter; winter mornings give crisper air. Limited facilities — bring water and a tripod.
