A classic alpine cirque with steep limestone walls, talus slopes, seasonal waterfalls and subalpine meadows — excellent for dramatic mountain landscapes, layered compositions and wildflower foregrounds. Best June–September for snow-free access, late August–October for larches/colour. Hike is moderate with some scrambling; parking at the trailhead off Highway 40.
