Small research station on Wallops Island overlooking Chincoteague Bay marshes and tidal channels. Shoot wide marshscapes, reflections, wading birds and migrating shorebirds; dramatic sunrises/sunsets and moody fog in spring/fall. Best at golden hour and high tide for water reflections. Public access is limited to station grounds/boardwalks; parking off Mill Dam Rd. Expect mosquitoes in summer; bring layers and respect research areas and signage.
