Paya Indah Wetlands is a restored wetland park with lakes, peat swamp, boardwalks and observation towers—excellent for water reflections, birdlife (egret, kingfishers), grazing deer and dramatic marsh panoramas. Best at golden hours (sunrise/sunset) for soft light and mirror reflections. Accessible by car ~50 km from Kuala Lumpur; paid entry and onsite parking. Expect mosquitoes—bring repellent. Weekdays and early mornings are least crowded. Respect wildlife; no feeding or loud noise.
