Shoot sweeping lake vistas, layered ridgelines, seasonal wildflowers and dramatic cloud/skying at sunrise or sunset. Trailhead parking is limited; Crater Lake National Park charges an entrance fee and the trail (≈3–4 mi round‑trip, ~1,000–1,200 ft gain) is best accessed summer–early fall when snow has melted.
