Best at golden hour or calm mornings for mirror reflections. Accessible via Forest Rd 650A; road can be rough — high-clearance/4WD helpful. No special permits for day use (USFS land); parking at the day-use area or campground. Expect bugs in early summer and quickly changing mountain weather.
