Shoot sunrise and sunset for warm light on the cliffs and calm water; afternoons can be windy. Park is off Hwy 191 near Vernal, has day-use fees, boat ramps, docks, parking and primitive camping. Trails and viewpoints along the shoreline give varied vantage points. Combine with nearby Dinosaur National Monument or Uinta backdrops.
