Sort Sol (the ‘black sun’) is the dramatic murmuration of millions of starlings over the Wadden Sea dike at Grellsbülldeich. Shoot sweeping aerial-like patterns against sunrise/sunset skies, silhouettes over tidal flats, and reflections on wet mudflats. Best Nov–Feb at dusk when flocks concentrate; light is richest in golden hour and blue hour. Site is roadside along the dike with informal parking—no entry fee.
