Akhlamad Sofla is a small mountain village at the head of the Akhlamad gorge — photogenic stone houses, a clear river with cascades and mossy boulders, alpine meadows and dramatic canyon walls. Best in spring–early summer for high waterfalls and lush greens, and autumn for warm tones. Sunrise and golden hour light on the cliffs is excellent; mid‑day can be harsh.
