A low, coastal levee along Sabine Lake offering wide water vistas, industrial silhouettes, marsh grasses and migratory birds — strong for sunrise/sunset color, long exposures of tidal movement, and juxtaposition of nature and refinery structures. Public access with roadside parking; mostly flat and easy to walk but bring insect repellent. Best at golden hour or during storm/lightning fronts for dramatic skies; weekdays and early mornings are quieter.
