Best in late Sept–Oct for salmon runs, golden hour or overcast for even skin tones and reflections. Trailhead parking on Bessette St; short, mostly flat walks and boardwalk sections—no entry fee. Weekdays are quieter; wear waterproof shoes and insect repellent.
