Woodland trailhead leading into high-elevation Appalachian forest, stream channels and small cascades—great for intimate landscape and nature images. Visit early morning for soft light and mist, or after rain for stronger water flow and saturated foliage. Best seasons: spring (wildflowers, fresh green), fall (vibrant foliage). Trail is moderate; small roadside parking at the trailhead, no fee. Wear waterproof boots and be prepared for uneven, sometimes muddy terrain.
