Trap Grounds

A small urban nature reserve of marsh, scrub, meadows and ponds offering intimate nature scenes, seasonal wildflowers, fungi and birdlife within Oxford. Best at golden hour or early morning for soft light and active wildlife; spring–summer for flowers and insects, autumn for rich tones. Access from Frenchay Rd; limited street parking—prefer bike or bus. Paths are uneven and sometimes muddy; treat the site respectfully (community-managed). No formal entry fees but check volunteer event closures.
