Grinnell Glacier Overlook
High alpine overlook with sweeping views of Grinnell Glacier, turquoise proglacial lakes and serrated Garden Wall ridgeline. Photograph dramatic glaciers, layered foreground lakes and cirques. Best visited late June–Sept for trail access; aim for sunrise or late afternoon for warm side light and fewer hikers. Access requires a multi-mile hike (or seasonal boat shuttle to shorten approach); park at Many Glacier/visitor lots and check for trail/park shuttle notifications and bear-safety rules.
