Gatch Falls
Small, mossy cascade set in dense Oregon forest — great for close-up waterfall textures, long exposures of silky water, and intimate landscape frames. Best visited spring and early summer for higher flow, or autumn for color. Lighting: overcast and post-rain days give even light and saturated greens; sunrise casts low side light. Trail is short but rooty and can be slippery; park at the pullout on the nearby forest road (no fees). Leave no trace and respect fragile streambanks.
