Best at sunrise/sunset for warm side-light and glassy water; spring and fall migration offer many species. Access via a small gravel lot in Elberfeld; trails/boardwalks are mostly flat but expect muddy sections and mosquitoes in summer. No gate fee; weekday mornings are quiet.
