A compact wetland reserve with boardwalks, marsh grasses, wildflowers and migratory birds — great for intimate nature compositions, birding close-ups and reflective waterscapes. Best visited late spring–early fall for blooms and bird activity; sunrise and golden hour give warm side-light and mirrored water. Trails are mostly flat and accessible from roadside parking; no entrance fee but expect mosquitoes and seasonal mud/flooding. Weekday mornings are quieter.
