Best at sunrise and especially sunset for warm side-lighting on water; low crowds in shoulder seasons. Very basic facilities (bring water, shelter, insect repellent). Access by car with informal parking; no entry fee. Great for relaxed landscape, long exposures and night-sky shots away from city light.
