A protected wild colony of hardy ferns (シダ) in the Yunomine area — dense, mossy understory, small streams and stone steps typical of Kumano’s spiritual forests. Shoot textures, repeating fronds, low-angle forest scenes and stream reflections. Best in spring–early summer when foliage is freshest; overcast days or early/late light give soft, even illumination. Site is small and fragile: stay on paths, limited parking nearby in Hongūchō; combine with nearby Yunomine Onsen. No formal entry fee but 尊
