Best at sunrise/sunset for warm sidelight on ridges; overcast days for silky stream long exposures. Access is primitive: gravel logging roads and short hikes from trailheads off Route 33/219; high-clearance vehicle recommended. No permits; limited parking at rough pullouts. Expect minimal cell signal
