Small lake park with wooded shorelines, meadows and a boat launch—great for reflections, long exposures on calm water, migratory and resident waterfowl, spring wildflowers and starry night skies. Best at sunrise and sunset for golden-hour reflections and silhouettes; spring and fall for birds. Park has paid entry, parking at trailheads and the boat ramp; some trails and pull-offs are unpaved, amenable to day trips and overnight camping for nightscapes.
