Deelerwoud is a mixed heathland and forest reserve with open sandy drifts, scattered pines and birches, and long lines of paths — excellent for intimate woodland scenes, wide heathland panoramas and moody misty mornings. Visit at dawn for low-angle light on grasses and fog, or at golden hour for warm tones on the heather. Accessible by foot from Deelen (parking available nearby); there is no formal entry fee but stick to marked trails and check for local conservation or military training notices
