Best at sunrise/sunset for warm side-light and long shadows; low tide reveals sandbars and reflections. Access is via short walk/trail from North Topsail Beach parking; no services on-site and it's a protected reserve, so stay on paths and respect wildlife. Weekday mornings less crowded; winter and spring migration prime for birds.
