A short, forested hike ending at a rocky viewpoint overlooking Alouette Lake, Chehalis and distant Coastal Mountains. Offers layered lake-and-mountain compositions, reflective water, seasonal color and mist/fog opportunities. Trail is moderate with roots/rocks; no fee but limited parking at trailhead. Best at golden hour for warm side light or early morning for low mist and fewer people; fall and spring offer vivid color and water flow.
