A rare high-elevation peat bog with a glassy lake, boardwalks, spruce/tamarack fringe and mountain ridges — excellent for reflective landscapes, intimate bog flora and seasonal color. Best at dawn for mist and mirrored reflections or late afternoon for warm side light; autumn offers peak color. Small parking lot at the Cranberry Glades Botanical Area; stay on boardwalks (protected area), bring bug spray and waterproof footwear in wet seasons. No permits for casual photography, but respect trails
