A short, accessible alpine loop with boardwalks, wetlands, aspen and conifer stands and clear views toward the Minarets and Mammoth peaks. Great for sunrise/sunset reflections, fall color in aspens, and intimate nature scenes. Visit early weekday mornings for calm water and few people. High elevation—bring layers and water. Free trailhead parking off Minaret Rd; sections are easy walking and partially boardwalked.
