A small bird hide overlooking reed-fringed pools where sand martins, swallows and other waterbirds nest and hawk over the water. Best visited spring–early summer for nesting activity, and at dawn or dusk for active flight and warm side/backlight. Paths and the hide are on flat ground; parking at Fosse Meadows car park (Roman Rd). No entry fee; respect quiet rules to avoid disturbing birds. Good year-round for reflections and reed silhouettes; bring insect protection in summer.
